Punctual

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 5, 2026

This policy explains what information Punctual collects through punctual.works, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Pilot applications. When you apply for the pilot, we collect the information you enter in the form: your name, job title, organization, work email, industry, number of hourly employees, how your employees clock in today, whether you pay a phone stipend, and any notes you add.

Server logs. Like most websites, our server automatically records basic technical information about each request, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser type. We use these logs to keep the site running, prevent abuse, and fix problems. They are kept for a short period and then deleted.

We do not collect information from visitors who simply browse the site, beyond these server logs.

How we use it

  • To review your application and contact you about the pilot.
  • To understand which kinds of employers are interested in Punctual.
  • To protect the site against spam and misuse.

We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or add you to marketing lists you did not ask to join.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run Punctual, and only as needed for that purpose:

  • Our web hosting provider, which stores the site and the database that holds applications.
  • Our email provider, which we use to reply to you.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, sale, or similar transaction involving Punctual, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

Cookies and tracking

The public site does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers, and it does not load content from third parties. No other company collects information about your activity on our site.

Because we do not track visitors over time or across other websites, we do not change our practices in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals; there is no tracking for them to turn off.

How long we keep it

We keep pilot applications for two years after our last contact with you, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email us at privacy@punctual.works and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and applications are stored in a database that is not reachable from the internet. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to the people who need it.

Children

Punctual is a business product. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will email the people affected.
